Deutsch Engineered Connecting Devices (Deutsch ECD) produces high performance electrical/electronic connector and wire termination devices.There are five divisions of Deutsch ECD. The Defense/Aerospace Operations (Deutsch DAO) produces environmentally sealed interconnection devices for critical circuits for outer space, aircraft, ground-based vehicles, and military operations. The Industrial Products Division (Deutsch IPD) manufactures environmentally sealed, heavy-duty electrical interconnection devices for critical circuits for truck, bus, construction, agricultural, off-highway and recreational vehicles. The Engineered Interconnection Solutions is Deutsch ECD's hermetic operation, creating electrical interconnection devices for MIL-Spec hermetic connectors, sensors/transducers, filter pins, jet aircraft engines, and land and marine seismic applications for the oil and gas industry. Deutsch ECD's newest division, Deutsch Advanced Interconnect, specializes in electrical and optical termination systems for the telecommunications industry, including terminating devices for towers and base stations.
